Along with the Petrified Forest National Park and the Painted Desert there are many other places to visit including the Navajo Nation, Hopi Nation, Zuni Nation, White Mountain Apache, Canyon De Chelley National Monument, Monument Valley, Cholla Lake Park, Homolovi Ruins State Park, The Mogollon Rim, Walnut Canyon, Meteor Crater, and the Rock Art Canyon Ranch. Also while staying in Holbrook you can follow the Holbrook Historic Walking Tour, visit the Navajo County Historical Museum, and enjoy many opportunities to soak up some of our “Route 66” Heritage.

Overnight or three day trips can be scheduled to visit the Grand Canyon (at Hoover Dam, Page, or by taking the train at Williams), tour Flagstaff, go to Las Vegas or Laughlin, shop at “Four Corners” and see three more states, walk the SkyWalk over the Canyon on the Hualapai Reservation, lounge in the natural hot springs in Truth or Consequences, NM, rest in “Standing on the Corner” Park in Winslow, or simply tour the beautiful White Mountain countryside from Payson through Heber-Overgaard, Show Low, St Johns, and Eager.
